Shyam Singh told Local 18 that the Chandrakala available at his shop is made with pure ghee, which tastes very delicious. Whoever eats Chandrakala from his shop, comes back to eat it again. Shyam Singh, who has been running the shop for the last 30 years, says that halwa, gulab jamun, peda and laddu are also available at the shop, which are made from pure mawa. Halwa made from semolina and gram flour is made in pure ghee.

Make sweets in a hygienic manner

Shyam Singh further says that people visiting Haridwar like the sweets of his shop very much. Keeping in mind the health of the people, all the sweets are made hygienically. Shyam Singh appealed to the people and said that if you are coming to Haridwar for Ganga bath or religious activities, then definitely taste the sweets of his shop once. Here Chandrakala is available for ₹580 per kg, Halwa for ₹300 per kg, Gulab Jamun for ₹60 for two pieces and Peda for ₹540 per kg.
